Stuff that interests me beyond Trains
My real pursuit in life is finding the last page of  the internet
Arduino

Arduino is a microcontroller that uses a subset of the C/C++ language.
Don't panic, you don't need to be a programmer as there are many projects available for download on the internet.
I built a metronome and the software was downloaded, why reinvent the wheel?
A basic knowledge of electronics and soldering ability and you're right to go.

3D Printing

3D printing is fantastic; what more can I say.
Look to the right and see what you can achieve.
If you get into 3D printing don't buy a cheap printer, pay not much more and get a good quality one.
I highly recommend Simplify3D for the slicer software, arguably the best available.

Guitar
Music

I'm learning to play three different instruments, call me mad but that's the way I am.
Checkout the music page for details.
Learning to play a musical instrument is rewarding and in doing so you're learning a new skill and that in itself is enjoyable.
Try it, you might surprise yourself.

Electronics
Electronics

Not much I can say about electronics other than I worked in an electronic design/trials laboratory for a number of years and then branched out into computers, cryptography and secure communications.
